NOVEMBER 18th – 26th: 2014 Pepsi International Cricket Council EAP Men’s Trophy competition.
Teams from Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Cook Islands, Indonesia, Vanuatu, Fiji, Japan and Philippines contesting Limited Overs matches trying to win places in next World Twenty20 competition.
Our branch will be catering for after-opening-ceremony finger-food meal on Tuesday 18th.
We will be catering for lunches for all teams and attached officials on each day from 19th to 26th November.
Some of our members will be involved in other duties such as scoring, handling pitch cover and marquees etc.
NOVEMBER 26th: Fund-raising dinner with PETERFITZSIMONS.
Venue: Lismore Workers Club, Keen Street, Lismore
Time: 7.00 pm for 7.30 pm
Cost: $45.00 for members of Lord’s Taverners, $50.00 for non-members.
Guest Speaker:Peter FitzSimons, celebrated author, journalist, columnist and former Wallaby. Peter will be on a National book tour launching his newest book, “Gallipoli“. (Copies will be on sale at the function, and Peter will sign those sold.)
